Wellspring, (the Artscape) will include a fictional mythology and language created specifically for the project. The mythology will include 13 archetypal characters which will be represented by plants and animals found in Indiana. These 13 characters will be portrayed in murals, architecture, poetry, sculpture, and most prominently in the Immersive Film. We are custom building a 360 circular cinema for the space, which will feature a triple screen, feature-length film with original music, that will literally surround you. This Character page is intended for the more nerdy among us to be a deep-dive resource to dig into the mythology content. It is the backbone of the project in a lot of ways, and all the process of creation for the mythology (the research, the conversations, etc) isn’t usually made public, but we decided to try and offer some of it because we thought you might enjoy it.
